Install the app on your computer

Your booking panel as an app of its own among your programs, with notifications about new bookings switched on. Use the browser you already use. You only click where the pink marker is.

Before you start

• Open the link we sent you — in Chrome or Edge, on Windows, Mac or Linux
• Have your admin password ready — the password for your panel

Tip

You only receive notifications about new bookings once the panel is installed as an app. In a normal browser tab it does not work permanently.

With Chrome

Six steps, the same on Windows, Mac and Linux. The pictures show a Mac.

1. Sign in. Open the link we sent you, enter your password and click „Sign in“.

   → Your panel opens.

   

2. Click „Install app“. At the bottom left of the sidebar, click the button „Install app“.

   → The browser shows a small window straight away.

   

3. Confirm with „Install“. The window shows the name of the app. Click „Install“.

   → The app opens in its own window and now sits among your programs, in the Dock (Mac) or the taskbar (Windows). Open it from there from now on.

   

4. Open „Notifications“. In the sidebar, click „Notifications“.

   

5. Switch on. Click the button „Turn on for this device“.

   → The browser now asks at the top.

   

6. Click „Allow“. At the top, the browser asks whether the app may send notifications. Click „Allow“.

   → Done. New bookings and cancellations now arrive on your computer straight away.

   

With Edge

Seven steps. The pictures show Windows 11.

1. Sign in. Open the link we sent you, enter your password and click „Sign in“.

   → Your panel opens.

   

2. Click „Install app“. At the bottom left of the sidebar, click the button „Install app“.

   → Edge shows a small window straight away.

   

3. Confirm with „Install“. The window shows the name of the app with tools.mirateq.com below it. Click „Install“.

   → The app opens in its own window, and Edge shows one more small window inside it.

   

4. Click „Allow“. Edge asks where the app should go. Pin to taskbar and Pin to Start are already ticked, which is what you want. Click „Allow“.

   → The app now sits on the taskbar and in the Start menu. Open it from there from now on.

   

5. Open „Notifications“. In the sidebar, click „Notifications“.

   

6. Switch on. Click the button „Turn on for this device“.

   → Edge asks straight away.

   

7. Click „Allow“. Top right, Edge asks whether tools.mirateq.com may show notifications. Click „Allow“.

   → Done. New bookings and cancellations now arrive on your computer straight away.
